MERA Announces New Build of its Session Controller
February 17, 2005
MERA Systems has released a new build of its MVTS Session Controller. The key feature of the new MVTS build is the SIP Registrar functionality.
The SIP Registrar functionality allows dynamic registration of SIP endpoints – including those devoid of a fixed IP address such as IP PBXs, IP phones, and low-capacity gateways. The SIP Registrar will guarantee fast and easy interconnections with SIP-based equipment. This feature is an enhancement of the SIP-HIT module of MERA’s Session Controller.
Additionally, the new build offers the following improvements:
- The New Call Rate parameter (number of call attempts processed per period of time) to keep track of dynamic changes of the busy hour call attempt (BHCA) values;
- Possibility of defining correlation between LCD and Q.931 codes manually for better system tuning;
- New values of the cdr_format parameter to facilitate correct CDR data export and parsing.
The trial version of the new build release is available at MERA’s website: www.mera-systems.com/download.
