MERA Systems Shares the Results of Annual Customer Survey

MERA Systems announces the results of an annual carrier survey held among the customers that deployed its flagship product, MERA VoIP Transit Softswitch II during the past year. MERA Systems aimed at evaluating customer satisfaction and finding out more about their day-to-day work with MERA’s state-of-the-art solution.

Almost 50 companies deployed MVTS II softswitch in 2007 and 15 more service providers are now carrying out thorough tests of the product. The majority of respondents (82 %) rated their overall satisfaction with the company’s solution as “high”. They especially emphasized their appreciation with MERA technical support team as well as the product specifications (intelligent routing and partitioning capabilities in the first place).

Companies that deployed MVTS II are located in 20 countries.  According to the survey some regions show particularly high demand rates for the product this year. The European and North American carriers have reported that current market situation makes them seek for new solutions.  In today’s crowded VoIP market environment service providers aim both at increasing profits and keeping their customers fully satisfied with the level of service.

GlobalTel IP, Inc., a US based provider of VoIP managed network services, refers to its MVTS II deployment experience in 2007. “The most popular GlobalTel IP value proposition is in providing international wholesale customers with the opportunity to manage their own VoIP business”, says Frank Babusik, Chief Operating Officer of GlobalTel IP. “Therefore, we were looking for a robust solution with strong partitioning capabilities. In the past we had issues with NPA/NXX routing for Inter/Intra State least cost routing. MVTS II enabled us to efficiently resolve our business challenges.”

“GlogalTel IP appreciates comprehensive technical support and profound expertise of MERA engineers who are always willing to help” adds Mr. Babusik. “MERA Systems offers a wide range of useful features, such as reports, call details, CDR-based call analysis and real-time monitoring of ASR, QoS, and ACD which dramatically facilitate technical troubleshooting. We believe that any company considering a VoIP platform for traffic exchange would be happy to have MVTS II softswitch as part of its network.”

MERA Systems would like to thank all customers who chose to deploy MVTS II softswitch on their network this year. We welcome our customer’s business challenges and work constantly on the product’s improvement.
